#TeaSipTuesdays: Liberating Cat Poses

We hit you with some Azealia news last week, but as it turns out, we have to circle right back, because well—she has a lot more going on besides her music. The rapper loves to be heard on the twittersphere, but today she’s not beefing: she’ll be posing nude for Playboy in their music issue, which is scheduled to hit newsstands in late March and rumored to have all the break-the-internet-worthy friskiness that Kim missed out on. Meooooooow.

The Harlem-raised rapper is obviously excited since she

We can’t stop staring. Can you?

Banks has a lot more celebrating to do, though: apart from her Playboy issue, she will be releasing her album Broke With Expensive Taste (BWET), which hits the music scene on March 3rd.

While we’re on the subject of  album drops, Drake musicophiles were surprised on February 12th with his latest project, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late  (Isn’t it cute how everyone wants to pull a Beyoncé?) Drake dropped the new project an hour before midnight of February 12th, which is his fourth official full-length album following up on 2013 release Nothing Was the Same.
However, rumors say this is a project Drake is doing as a contractual obligation since there has been a lot of drama between him and Cash Money Records over the last few months. Lil Wayne—Drake’s mentor—had some words with the label on twitter, as a result of a $51 million lawsuit.

Weezy said he planned to take Drake (and Nicki Minaj, too) with him. After having listened to this album—referred to as a mixtape by others—we believe Drake is the first free from his contract, but if not, he should change his name to an unrecognizable symbol, keep releasing mixtape albums in quick succession and liberate himself, quickly. You know, basically be Prince.
