Welcome to another edition of the Tuesday tea sip. This week we have some Grammy flavored love potion brewing for you. Yep, we’re spotlighting lovers who were giving us life this weekend at the Grammy’s. While we were briefly disappointed over RiRi not sporting her alleged beau, Leo as arm candy on the red carpet, we got over it quickly, directing our attention to the power couples that walked the carpet.
All winners in love, some losers in fashion. Here’s our rundown (and a little award show of our own):Cutest Couple Award
The Winners: Ariana Grande and Big Sean
It’s clear these two are PDA-love birds, because they couldn’t keep their hands off each other!

Whether on the red carpet or during the actual awards show, the pair were a delight to each other and we loved every minute of it. Their outfits coordinated perfectly (Versace, Versace), and they seemed to truly enjoy each others’ company. Cue the awwws. While Ariana’s performance may have been a bit lackluster we’ve decided to give her a pass for blowing us away with Couple Cuteness 10-point-O.
Track And Field Award
The Winners: Pharrell Williams and Helen Lasichanh
We’re going to teach you a lesson in “Just Beacuse’s”. We’ll brief you quickly:
Just because you and your beau have collaborated on an apparel line, does not mean that it should be worn at red carpet events.
Just because a short tux has worked for you before, it does not mean it will work for you again.

We wish Pharrell would’ve wowed us by wearing something a little different for this award show (Yea—he’s a repeat offender, sporting a short tux for us at the Oscars. Yawn.), but we’re just glad he retired the Smokey the Bear look. When God closes a door…
What we’re gushing over is the fact that his short tux and his beaus’ track pantsuit are made of tech fabric and we’re gaping over all of its glow-in-the-dark panache.
Not-Sure-Why-You’re-Here-But-Glad-You-Came Award
The Winners: David Burtka and Neil Patrick Harris

While missing out on his opportunity of being inducted into the EGOT winner’s circle for his Hedwig And The Angry Inch Broadway cast album (EGOT: reference to a person who wins all of the essential awards: an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. We’re serious.), Neil Patrick Harris was winning on the red carpet. He and his husband, David Burtka looked amazingly debonair and they have become one of our favorite couples by showing the world that the LGBT community are normal, human and are part of society’s modern family.
Fashion Fun-house Award
The Winners: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West (a.k.a. Kimye)

Maybe in Kim Kardashian’s boudoir there’s a special room full of fun-house mirrors that plays eye tricks on Kim, deceiving her into believing she can wear what she did at the Grammy’s red carpet. Too much? We tried to explain the look. Honey boo boo child: You’re not 5’10’ nor a size 2. Continue to embrace your booty, curves, bass, and pick something more flattering. It’s a real shame that this gown went to waste, because it been chosen on someone whom it fit, this piece may have been a knockout. On her the most heavily embellished portion of the dress hits directly on her hips which also happens to be her widest point; the sleeves are about 4-5” too long; and maybe the sex hair on a woman who notoriously hit the scene on her back… we’ll stop there before we get too nasty.
Kanye in a black suede suit: predictable but not offensive. Slouchy suede cowboy boots with said predictable black suede suit: an offensive fashion fail. Maybe, Kimye share the same boudoir fun-house mirrors? Shade.
Honorable Mention
We told you that Luke “Wolf” James and Jessie J are now an item. Don’t believe us? Just scroll through either of their Instagram accounts, and you’ll catch on quick. While the couple didn’t walk the red carpet together, (maybe Jessie was busy preparing for her performance and the Eonline-Instagram-Takeover), we did sport this red carpet interview with Luke and Rocsi, as he dishes on his Valentine’s Day plans with his boo thang. Cue the second “awwww”, now.

Some last thoughts before we leave you to sip on all of this tea:
We really wish we could have seen T-Swifty’s face during Katy Perry’s performance, allegedly the “left blue shark” from the Super Bowl was the dancer who started their feud. Taylor is known to boogie down to every performance so now we will never know if she went to the bathroom, or just sat there in the front row throwing dirty looks. Sigh.
While we’re on the subject of Taylor Swift, it seems she has forgiven Kanye for interrupting her during her acceptance speech at whatever awards show that was because they were seen taking pictures together (BFFs now? *Kanye shoulder shrug*), but we get the feeling that she may have had PTS and nightmarish flashbacks when Kanye almost pulled a Kanye by storming the stage before Beck could even get a firm grip on the award. Yeezy coming to Queen Bey’s rescue by trying to avenge the slight towards her—the rightful winner of the Album of the Year award.
This tweet says it all for us:
Beck needs to personally scratch his name off of that award and carve Beyoncé onto it with his teeth
— Matt Bellassai (@MattBellassai)
Or maybe Prince’s reaction does the trick:
Either way, it was all for kicks and giggles, but Jay and Bey’s reaction to what was almost a repeat of Yeezy history caught by Complex Magazine was the true classic moment:
When your boy is FourFiveSeconds from wildin'. #GRAMMYs https://t.co/wy5ifVSjD5
— Complex (@ComplexMag)
On a another note, rumors are spreading that we may be seeing another Jay-Z X Beyoncé collabo, with the couple coupling up on a possible album. Knowing the pair, they may continue to make boss moves and just drop it tomorrow. (You heard it here, first.)
In any case, it’s refreshing to see Queen Bey and Jay making up after that sushi-sake-scuffle and giving us relationship goals for life.
Can you count the Grammy’s in their hands?! *Sip Sip*
